Show Summary:

Chicago is headed to a Mayoral run-off election in April and history will be made no matter who wins. The top two vote-getters in the February 26th election were two African American women, former federal prosecutor Lori Lightfoot and current Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle. Tariq offers thoughts on low voter turnout, the remaining candidates next steps, and shares the vision of both candidates (as stated on their websites).

In the second half we take a listen to our November 2018 interview of Lori Lightfoot as she talks about how she'll approach issues of economic development, policing, and education.
