Radio Islam is currently seeking several talented individuals
to host our forthcoming call in radio talk show program
in the greater Chicago area.
With a human interest focus, the proposed program will
run 7 days per week at a standard time each day. Daily
hosts will represent a mosaic of the Muslim Community
featuring individuals of both genders, diverse ages
and cultural backgrounds. We are looking for two Muslim
hosts from each of the following cultural background:
Afro-American, Arab, South Asian and North American/Western
European.
With no Islamic Radio Talk Show currently in existence,
it is hard for us to gage the talent hidden within our
community! Prospective talk show hosts must be well-spoken,
witty, confidant, capable of holding and developing
conversation, patient with nasty callers, proficient
at encouraging discussion, and educated on current affairs.
If you know someone who fits this description, nominate
them today!
Prospective candidates will be interviewed by broadcast
experts. 15 - 20 of the best nominees will be trained
in relevent art and technology. Of the trainees, 7 will
be selected to host forthcoming Islamic radio shows
for a three month trial period, with chances of carrying
on in a long term hosting position.
All talk show host positions will be voluntary at initial
stage.
